Here are our Christmas pics. We went to Grandma Joplin's on the 19th and had a wonderful time there. We spent Christmas Eve with Pam and Chuck and all of the crew. Santa even showed up.... Christmas morning we openend our presents and then Grandma and Grandpa Springate showed up to have Christmas dinner at our house. We had a wonderful day and it was so nice to stay home and not have to go somewhere. Don did all of the planning and cooking of the meal which was delicious. We missed seeing Shana, Hector and Isabell and of course mom and Ryan and Amy and the kids but all and all it was a great Christmas. We had lots of time to spend with family. I took down the decorations two days after Christmas because that is always hard on me but I was glad we did it early.

Christmas 2008

Welcome 2009. Can't believe it is already the start of another year. This year I hope to accomplish many things. I won't necessarily call them resolutions but commitments. Jacob and Lauren are doing great. Lauren is doing wonderful in school and Jacob is getting more talkative every day. We hope to have him completely potty trained by this time next year. We have been working with him and some days are better than others that is for sure. I go back to work tomorrow after a wonderful two weeks off. It will be really hard to go back. I have loved spending time with my family.
